My Life within Music
Since I do a lot of work within music media, it's not surprising that one of my favorite pastimes is creating, listening, and discussing music. My dad was pianist so music was all around the house growing up. I've been playing guitar since I was 12 years old and clarinet since the first days of 5th grade band, so chances are if I don't have a camera in my hands, it'll be an instrument.
I fell in love with the local music scene once I moved to Bowling Green, Ohio for college. Since I was going to all these house shows, I decided I wanted to get into concert photography and document my local scene since it's given me an amazing community and so much love in return.
"My friend once told me that we're all mosaics of everyone we've ever loved. These fragments that make us unique are a testament to all of those that we cherish and have come to know. I only hope that one day, I can grow to appreciate these pieces that make up my soul, as I have appreciated each loved-one who gave them to me."
